Was a Google Service Down for You Today?
For about more than 20 minutes (9am -9:25am PT) Google.com and any of it’s sub directory was down!
Can you imagine living without having google search, checking on your gmail, google news, etc2.
Well whatever it is that caused the most important site in the world to go down….it better not happen for too long!
How much money Google will loose from this incident? Well using the most recent quarter number, seems like Google will give up about close to $80 million in revenue every hour!
Most important perhaps they are allowing Yahoo and Microsoft, to grab tiny market share of the online advertising market.
Which company host their website? 1&1 hosting or GoDaddy.com ? (jokes for all of you IT people!)
Update: ZDNet says it’s an AT&T routing issue and that “Anything that touches AT&T is down.”
